This Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, we invite you to open your heart to the dogs of Salty Dog Sanctuary — a foster-based rescue devoted to giving Southwest Florida’s most vulnerable pups a second chance at love, safety, and the life they deserve.

Sherlock
Sherlock was brought to Palm Beach Animal Control by his owners, who requested euthanasia, claiming the eleven-year-old pup suffered from seizures and incontinence. They had already adopted two new dogs before surrendering him.
But shelter staff saw a different Sherlock - a gentle, friendly boy who had no accidents in his kennel and experienced no seizures while in their care.
Thanks to Salty Dog Sanctuary, the commitment of our volunteers, and one dedicated volunteer, Sherlock was rescued and spared from euthanasia.
He received the special care he deserved, and is now happily settling into his new life — grateful, safe, and Home for the Holidays.!

Your compassion truly makes the difference.
Every day, our volunteer fosters welcome abandoned, neglected, and at-risk dogs into their homes, offering safety, medical care, and the love they’ve never known. But we can’t continue this life-saving work without you. Your gift—no matter the size—directly funds urgent veterinary care, nutritious food, transport, and the resources our fosters need to help each dog heal and thrive.
This Giving Tuesday, please stand with us and be part of a rescue journey that transforms lives, one salty snout at a time.
